Preworkshops around the world

Rework the World builds on local and regional workshops in Africa, Asia, the Americas and Europe in 2009-2010. Analysis of the regional challenges that are emerging in the wake of the economic, financial and climate crises sets the stage for the meetings.

Local examples of promising ideas and ventures will be the focus. The purpose is to highlight the promising initiatives, and connect them to local, regional and global actors thus boosting their chance of driving change. Communicating change is as critical as making it. The growing base of experience, practices and people will inspire the message outreach around each summit, continuously online and through other media. The good examples will guide others to follow and help put pressure on policy changes at all levels.
