a “World Café” session of sharing and harvesting.

10.00 Plenary session IV – Creating a billion new jobs: From local entrepreneurs to global change

Introduction: Maud Olofsson (Deputy Prime Minister, Sweden)

Vision 1: Mass-mobilizing the poor for entrepreneurship and jobs
Percy Barnevik (Chairman, Hand in Hand, Sweden).
Followed by a conversation with Elaben Bhatt (Founder of SEWA, India),
Ulrich Frei (FUNDES International, Costa Rica) and Hekani Jakhalu (YES Leader, Nagaland and Director, YouthNet, India).

Vision 2: "Green teams" bringing clean energy to rural Africa
Emmanuel Dennis Ngongo (Country Coordinator, YES, Kenya).
Followed by a conversation with Rustom Masalawala (Director, Business
Development, Millennium Promise, USA) and Julius Mutio (Business Development Services Coordinator, ILO, Geneva).

Reflections: Aart de Geus (Deputy Secretary General, OECD, Paris) and
Maria Wetterstrand (Member of Parliament and spokesperson, Green Party,
Sweden)

14.00 Parallel Reworkshop Sessions (II) and Rethinking Sessions

Location: Various

In addition to the Reworkshops (continued from Thursday afternoon), other
conversations (with a focus on Rethinking) will take place, and space will
also be available for improvised gatherings, coaching sessions, brainstorming
on new ideas and open presentations.

The Reworkshops will be taking forward sustainable initiatives in the areas
of energy, water, land, cities and people. Reworking finance solutions are
introduced.

Rethinking sessions will cover issues such as how to create equal access to
economic opportunities, and how to work within the planetary boundaries

and Rethinking Sessions

The Reworkshops continue, taking forward sustainable initiatives in the
areas of energy, water, land, cities, people and finance.
The Rethinking sessions cover issues such as the role of social entrepreneurship
and the role of enabling technologies to rework the world.

After a full day of inputs and reworking, five late-evening parallel gatherings
will present stories of hope and inspiration, in words and music.
